The short version
We buy over-the-counter blood glucose test strips only. Every box has to be sealed, unopened and well clear of its expiration date.

What we can't buy
We're strict about this, and it keeps everybody on the right side of the line:
- Anything prescription-only, including CGM sensors and transmitters
- Prescription medication of any kind, including insulin
- Opened, used, damaged or unsealed boxes
- Expired strips, or strips expiring within 6 months
- Anything supplied by Medicare, Medicaid or a state assistance program
